Olomouc is the second largest city in the Moravian region and the sixth in the Czech Republic. The shopping centre is strategically located in the north-western part of the city, where there is excellent public transport with a catchment area for more than 515,000 inhabitants. Olomouc City was built in 2005 as an extension of the Globus hypermarket and is currently a stand-alone shopping centre. The key tenant is the CineStar multiplex cinema. Mint Investments acquired OC Olomouc City in the largest public auction in the Czech Republic.
Mint subsequently sold the centre in 2019 after a complete redevelopment with 93% occupancy and optimisation of the tenant mix.
